Prepare for Battle

For today
I begin to say
Prepare
For the battle that lies before you

For the day and the hour is at hand
For by My grace you will stand
But only
If you take My right hand

Draw near to Me
So you will see
How to deal
With the enemy

He will not relent
Because he is bent
On your destruction

But do not be alarmed
For he will not harm
A hair on your head

For now you stand
In My place
Until you finish your race

Therefore know
That the victory will be
A spectacular show

A show of My power
In this hour
A show of My strength

Hear me now, I say
Prepare your heart
Day by day

Then you will stand
And beat him
At every hand

His game is not chess
But he will oppress
All that give him place

Heed My warning
Morning by morning
Spend time with Me 

And you will always see
Everything that he has
Planned for thee

He will not fail to attack
So do not turn your back

Set your heart to see
What I have placed deep
Inside of thee

Everything you need
Is there with plenty more
Laid up in store

Here what the Spirit is saying
To the churches

It is only by My grace
That you will stand
At My right hand

Do not be glad and rejoice
Just because
You have heard My voice

But rejoice
Because
I have given you the victory
